The John F. Kennedy Intsitute’s Graduate School of North American Studies at Freie Universitat Berlin provides the opportunity to conduct doctoral research in the disciplines of cultural studies, economics, history, literary studies, political science and sociology. Funded by the German Research Foundation as part of the Excellence Initiative since 2006, the Graduate School is dedicated to a comprehensive interdisciplinary analysis of North American Studies.
