The BA program in North American Studies is a so-called “Monobachelor” or single-subject study program, with a total of 150 credit points (LPs) in North American Studies and 30 credit points in General Professional Skills (known as ABV, or “allgemeine Berufsvorbereitung”). The study and examination regulations require study in three of the six disciplines taught at the Kennedy Institute. A semester abroad is mandatory and planned for the fifth semester (or additionally, in the sixth).
Proof of English language skills at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required for admission to the BA program. You can find more information about the study program and the application process by using the navigation menu above.
