Description: The New Voices in Postcolonial Studies Network (NVPoCo) and the University of Westminster, London are hosting a conference titled American Dream/American Nightmare which will be hosted online and in-person in London this July (3rd and 4th).
The event will include roundtables on themes such as “Poetics of Resistance” “Along State Lines: Nation and Nationalism, Borders, and Changing Territories/Landscapes” and “Perspectives within ‘New’ and ‘Emerging’ Media,” which will feature various Europe and Transatlantic-based researchers and creatives.
Submission guidelines: Abstracts of 200-250 words for 15-20 minute oral presentations on the theme “American Dream/American Nightmare”. Also submissions for A2 poster presentations on the same theme.
Submission deadlines: Friday March 28th, 2025, 5PM GMT
