“Borderlands and Boundaries of US Latinx Identity”
The new issue of CAMINO REAL. Estudios de las Hispanidades Norteamericanas journal (Year 2026, Issue 21), edited by Anna Marta Marini, is seeking critical articles, creative writings and book reviews that focus on reflections on the multimodal representations of the boundaries of US Latinx identity in popular culture and discourses, focusing on the diversity of identities, liminality, and disenfranchised experiences of US Americanness, as well as the construction of borders—both material and metaphorical—as means to define the US national imaginary.
